Yanzi: HiMr.Abrar, I am Yanzi from Beijing Foreign Studies University, thank you for being here. Have you watched the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics?

AbrarPakistanis were glued to their screens. and they watched the entire opening ceremony. And there was not only one segment, it was so beautifully designed and directed, and every participant was taking so much enthusiasm. So that is why all the citizens watched live in Pakistan.

Yanzi: Ok, thank you. I think there are some Chinese romance in the opening ceremony. So what do people in Pakistan pay attention to (during) the Winter Olympics?

AbrarThis was the first time perhaps Pakistan people were very interested about the sports, they were very focused and very interested about how this Winter Olympics goes. Because in the past there was not so much attention in Pakistan. In Pakistan, mostly they will play throwball, baseball, cricket, and other sports. But this time around, people watched new games, and they were very interested to learn how these games go, not only we sent a delegation to take part in the sport, but also our Prime Minister along with a huge delegation, he went there to be a part of the history, because this Olympic sport is not only about sport, this is about history, and China is a part of this history. Despite the fact that there were some pressures, but Pakistanis stand very firm to prove that China and Pakistan are iron brothers.

Yanzi: History we are making and we are also making it, thank you. So the last question is, today is still the Chinese new year, is there anything you want to say to the Chinese people who are watching this video?

AbrarI want to tell the Chinese people that China is rising now, the world is now looking towards China how China reacts and acts. And this is time to make historymake human race proud.

We all look forward to a shared future, a better, more colorful, more beautiful future. Thank you for today’s interview, thank you Mr. Abrar.
